That’s it. After a few months of renovation work… the doors of our flagship store in L’illa Diagonal Shopping Center in Barcelona have reopen.
With it, a new store concept is presented, a concept born with the aim of escaping from conventions and reversing our origins.
The store is located in the same premises it already occupied, on floor -1 of the shopping center.
“The store at L’illa is very special to us, since it’s the place where we opened our second store in 1994”.
The team behind this new concept of interior design are Pol Castells and Benito Escat, from Quintana Partners.
“We chose them because we didn’t want just a store renovation. The challenge consisted in telling our story. Talking from the present about our origins, through colors, lighting, furniture and product placement.”
With an area of 280m2, the store invites the visitor to enter a quiet environment, recovering the primitive spirit that laid the origins of the brand under the concept of “cave” that inspired our first Natura stores in 1992. This idea translates now in a sinuous space, with organic shapes, embodied in earthy colors, noble materials and dim lighting that transport us to our origins.
The green and white palette, predominant in our stores until now, gives way to warmer color ranges in which ochres and terracottas predominate. As materials, wood continues to be predominant in an exhibition space articulated and molded in plaster to simulate a clay finish, reminiscent of the primitive spirit that identifies the brand.
The renovated space continues to focus on the product, so the furniture and the color palette have been designed to enhance the clothing, accessories and gift collections that make up our unique offer.
As for the product selection, the store maintains the combination of categories that exist in the rest of the stores but highlights our scent collection with a corner dedicated exclusively to candles, incense and home fragrances.
