The power of music is extraordinary. He has the ability to make us dream, to get us out when we are sad, to dismiss ourselves, to help us get what we have inside and make ourselves travel in time. He has the power to unite and move to adults and children. It helps us remember and imagine, since it stimulates brain and creativity. Music is able to cure and help people feel better. Music is the lives of many people. Music is life is a series of interviews with people who dedicate their lives to music, and experience it from different fields and perspectives: effort, creativity, love, therapy ... Today we wanted to chat with Paula Happy, model, actress and singer. Paula was born in Barcelona in 1997. From a very young age she was surrounded by music, her parents and friends always remained to play at home or other and on vacation they camped in the garden of one and spent playing Cuban music every day. As he tells us, music has accompanied her every day of her life and likes all genres. “As a child I took singing classes as extra school and since then I have never stopped singing. I learned to play the guitar and piano watching YouTube tutorials and sing especially I have learned imitating the singers that I like the most. My number one reference is Amy Winehouse, since the first time I heard her moved a lot, I would be eight years old. Right now I am creating music. Sometimes it costs me because I like so many different genres that I would love to be reflected that and it is usually a bit complicated, but I enjoy the process the same and I hope to do something very nice in the end. ” IMG_0863 If you were a song, what would you be? Because? It would be ‘Moddy’s Mood for Love’ of Amy, because every time I have fallen in love, it has been exactly like that, and I also love to sing it. What does music suppose in your life? It is almost like a medicine. If I'm sad listening and singing, it's almost therapeutic. If I'm happy I start to dance. The truth is for everything, even to cry when you want and you can't. What do you feel when you dance/sing/listen to music? Gustito, each song makes me feel a different thing and I really empathize it a lot with melodies and lyrics, music has made me laugh and cry. When I am singing I feel full inside, as if I had anxiety but vice versa (I say that a lot, hahaha). How do you think the world would be without music? Borrídíimo, there would be no feeling, if there was no music, it would be very difficult for many other artistic disciplines to be. How do you imagine music within 20 years? The truth is, I have no idea, but I am impatient to see what happens. I have seen that there are many things that come back and merger with new ones, so I think we can expect anything. Spotify, CD, vinyl, cassette, live ...? Does the format matter? I always listen to Spotify because everything is, I also have playlists with different moods and genres with many different artists. But obviously the live is the best, I think I have cried with emotion in the 80% of concerts in which I have been, there is no comparison to what makes me feel live music. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LHQXpGLOznM Listen here Paula's Soundcloud. #GoodVibesNatura
