February 4 is the International Cancer Day. One day that aims to encourage prevention and awareness to reduce preventable deaths and encourage measures.
Today we want to take advantage to remember that the main tool in the fight against cancer is research. Therefore, it has always been one of our objectives: to support cancer research with projects such as the Solidarity scarf or the Solidarity Market.
To give visibility to be reality, we have filled our shop windows on good news about this disease thanks to research:
In 2030 a new case will be diagnosed in Spain every two minutes and a person will die of cancer every four minutes. But there are also figures for hope: more than 50% cure and five -year survival rates are already 60%. Do we want to improve these numbers? More research.
